Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking an experienced Principal Supply Chain Program Manager to lead the strategy, governance, and execution of the Excess & Obsolete (E&O) Inventory Management Program within the Supply Chain Operations organization.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Chain Operations, this individual contributor will serve as the subject matter expert responsible for minimizing inventory exposure across OCI's rapidly expanding global infrastructure supply chain. The role focuses on identifying inventory risks early, developing mitigation strategies, improving inventory health, and partnering across Supply Planning, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Data Center Operations to optimize inventory investment while supporting business growth.
This role requires deep expertise in supply planning, inventory management, lifecycle planning, and data analytics. The successful candidate will combine strong business judgment with analytical rigor to develop scalable processes, actionable insights, and cross-functional strategies that reduce excess inventory, prevent obsolescence, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
Internal Responsibilities
Excess & Obsolete (E&O) Program Management
Own the end-to-end E&O inventory management program across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's global supply chain.
Develop strategies to proactively identify, monitor, and reduce excess and obsolete inventory exposure.
Establish governance, reporting, and operational processes supporting enterprise-wide E&O management.
Partner with planning organizations to integrate E&O considerations into supply planning and purchasing decisions.
Drive continuous improvements that reduce inventory write-offs while maintaining supply continuity.
Inventory Risk Management
Analyze inventory trends to identify aging inventory, excess purchases, demand shifts, and lifecycle risks.
Develop mitigation strategies including inventory redeployment, supplier returns, alternate use opportunities, engineering changes, and disposition planning.
Partner with Engineering and Product teams to evaluate component substitutions and reuse opportunities.
Monitor inventory health across multiple product families and infrastructure programs.
Support executive reviews by highlighting key inventory risks and recommended corrective actions.
Analytics & Reporting
Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards measuring inventory health, E&O exposure, inventory aging, excess inventory, and financial impact.
Perform root cause analysis to identify drivers of excess inventory and recommend long-term corrective actions.
Provide regular reporting and executive summaries to Supply Chain leadership and Finance.
Build predictive analytics that identify future E&O risks before they materialize.
Leverage data to improve inventory visibility and support informed business decisions.

Document best practices and operational procedures supporting inventory optimization.
Financial Stewardship
Partner with Finance to evaluate inventory reserves, write-off exposure, and financial reporting.
Support quarterly inventory reviews and reserve assessments.
Develop strategies that improve inventory turns while reducing excess inventory liabilities.
Measure and communicate the financial impact of E&O reduction initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Experience
8+ years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, materials planning, operations planning, or supply chain program management.
Demonstrated experience managing excess and obsolete inventory programs or inventory optimization initiatives.
Strong understanding of supply planning, procurement, demand planning, and inventory control processes.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives without direct management responsibility.
Experience supporting large-scale technology, manufacturing, hardware, or cloud infrastructure supply chains preferred.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in inventory analytics and supply chain reporting.
Strong SQL and Excel skills; experience with Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics Cloud, or similar visualization tools preferred.
Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM, Oracle ERP, or comparable enterprise planning systems.
Strong understanding of:
