Space Force SIGINT Subject Matter Expert (TS/SCI + Poly) – Fort Meade, MD
Leidos Defense Sector is seeking an experienced Space Force SIGINT SME to support a major Air Combat Command (ACC) ISR program at Fort Meade, MD.
This senior‑level position plays a critical role in shaping the US Space Force cryptologic enterprise, serving as a key advisor and functional authority for SIGINT and ISR matters across the Service Cryptologic Component (SCC).
You will directly support and advise the USSF Deputy Director of Intelligence (USSF/S2) on SIGINT mission management, policy, authorities, and enterprise development.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead Space Force Cryptologic Office initiatives including cryptologic training, USSF operations, mission authorization, analysis/production, and space operations.
- Serve as SCC SIGINT authority—advise USSF/S2 on SIGINT training, mission execution, policy, and authorities.
- Coordinate with NSA and USSF stakeholders to ensure cryptologic readiness for space and counter‑space missions.
- Enhance USSF Initial Skills Training and support continuous improvement across the ISR training pipeline.
- Strengthen SIGINT enterprise integration across national and tactical operations.
- Provide full‑spectrum SIGINT expertise across tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED).
Basic Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with current Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of SIGINT experience OR a Masters and 10+ years of SIGINT experience . Additional years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Strong foundation in FISINT fundamentals, collection methodologies, analytic techniques, and tradecraft
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to brief senior leaders
- Ability to translate complex technical SIGINT concepts for technical and non‑technical audiences
- Experience with project management tools (Confluence, Jira, PowerPoint, Project)
- Working knowledge of the National Intelligence Community, Joint Command structures, DoD organizations, and interagency operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of space and electronic warfare concepts, threats, and adversary capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to conduct unbiased, complex research and produce high‑value mission assessments
- Experience within NSA, Space Force ISR operations, or Space Force cryptologic training environments
- Deep familiarity with Space Force organizational structure and mission
- Experience supporting Space Intelligence Operations within USSPACECOM, NSIC, or Space Force Deltas
- Completion of Space 100/200 or relevant communications satellite experience

Pay Range:
Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
