Reports To: Field Operations Foreman
Job Purpose
The Field Operations Panel Installer is responsible for installing exterior wall cladding systems, including MCM panels, with minimal supervision. This is a hands-on, field-based role that requires knowledge of installation practices, safety standards, and the ability to support and mentor team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and follow installation drawings accurately.
- Install exterior cladding material, insulation, and zee furring channels with quality and efficiency.
- Seal joints and penetrations using caulking and waterproofing techniques.
- Conduct safety checks on equipment and maintain OSHA compliance.
- Identify and address safety hazards to prevent incidents.
- Troubleshoot on-site issues and coordinate with the Foreman or Superintendent.
- Travel will be required, including out-of-state assignments.
Required Skills & Qualifications: All training is provided
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain an OSHA certification and complete all safety training
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using digital tools like iPads on job sites.
- Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, kneel, and navigate rough terrain.
- Work at heights on platforms, lifts, scaffolds, and stairs.
- Daily exposure to outdoor construction site conditions.
