Configuration Manager - Mid-Level
Why This is an Exciting Role:
BI&A is seeking a Mid-Level Configuration Management Specialist to establish, maintain, and oversee configuration and data management policies, procedures, and tools across our organization. This role is critical in ensuring standardized, cost-effective approaches to configuration management for both internally developed and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products.
Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
- 8 Years of experience in Configuration Management roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
- A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master’s Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience.
Required Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with an active CI Polygraph
Deep knowledge and understanding of software configuration management concepts, goals, benefits, and strategies
Hands-on experience with standard commercial configuration management software products such as ClearCase, Subversion, JSMART, Razor, TeamWare, or similar configuration management tools
Proficiency in automating unit and integration testing processes
Strong understanding of build management and continuous integration practices
Background in coordinating with development, engineering, and quality assurance teams
Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules, including potential shift work
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with modern DevOps tools and practices
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud-based configuration management solutions
- Certification in configuration management or related disciplines
- Experience in regulated industries requiring strict configuration control

Summary Pay Range:

$105,000 - $164,000
