BAE Systems is looking for an experienced EMI Engineer with a passion for engineering and the desire to be part of an innovative, dedicated team responsible for designing, developing, and testing of industry-leading navigation products.
The team is responsible for overseeing internal lab activities, coordinating new and existing EMI/EMC design efforts, mentoring Hardware Engineering Teams in EMI/EMC best practices and provides coordination for all EMI/EMC testing efforts. The EMI or RF engineering candidate will have experience with EMI testing, understanding of EMI/EMC best practices and be capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
- Experience with electronic test and troubleshooting
- Experience with electronic test equipment
- Experience with electrical circuit design and schematic capture
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Experience with EMI/EMC tdest an troubleshooting
- Experience with EMI/EMC test equipment and filtering
- Understanding of MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-704 test procedures and methods
- Time management skills - ability to work unsupervised, multi-task, and coordinate work
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $72150 - $122655
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
