Leidos’ Digital Sector is seeking a Vice President, Program Manager with executive presence located in Huntsville, Alabama.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The successful leader will drive exceptional performance execution, delivering industry best practice and cutting-edge solutions that support complex service delivery for customer networks, telecommunications, cloud, compute and storage, cybersecurity and enterprise services to achieve mission success. This role prioritizes strategic vision for consistent and reliable Information Technology (IT) service delivery and operations leading to excellent customer experiences while proactively ensuring reliable, innovative, and secure services across the enterprise.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, with a preference of being cleared immediately upon start. (US Citizenship Required)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful leader will thrive in thought leadership and transparent management of a multi-million dollar program, ensuring a scalable management and technical approach providing mission-focused, high quality and on-time delivery of service; effectively collaborating to obtain and synthesize mission requirements from various stakeholders, while simultaneously driving team performance to leverage industry best practices; seamlessly managing resources, budget, schedule, customer engagement; ensuring high end-user satisfaction; and possessing excellent communication skills.
- Successfully and strategically partner with government stakeholders and industry to provide seamless service delivery best practices and modernized infrastructure technology and systems in accordance with customer needs and priorities.
- Enable exceptional information sharing and visualization capabilities across the enterprise for transparent and timely decision support.
- Serve as the customer’s primary contact and maintain a high degree of collaboration with all stakeholders.
- Lead, manage and integrate day-to-day execution of enterprise activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure optimal use of resources for superior technical, schedule, and financial performance. This includes experience estimating technical and operations costs within the enterprise.
- Where applicable, ensure defined project baselines, execution, quality and efficiency in accordance with requirements.
- Proactively manage issues and risks, developing mitigation strategies and facilitating resolution in collaboration with the government.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with organizational standards of exceptional customer satisfaction.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and 15+ years combined experience managing and/or executing the planning, provisioning, and delivery of technically complex enterprise-level projects and operations across multiple related IT disciplines throughout the project lifecycle for large organizations.
- Specialized Experience: At least five years of recent/relevant experience providing performance-based/cost contract management and program leadership for a broad range of technologies to include but not limited to: Network Infrastructure Operations, Defensive Cyber Operations, Data Center Compute and Storage, and Cloud Technologies. This includes regular communication with the supported organization’s senior executives and direct accountability for managed activities.
- Demonstrated familiarity with Earned Value Management, ITIL, ISO-9001:2000 / CMMI, Agile/Dev-Ops, and related industry/government best practices.
- Proven experience defining and executing long- and short-term business objectives, to include developing strategic roadmaps for IT services and providing management oversight to ensure developed solutions, satisfy customer and business requirements.
- Proven experience identifying and assessing business impacts to proposed changes of technical solutions or enterprise operations.
- Proven ability delivering exceptional customer experience and achieving operational excellence in reliable and effective IT services and systems.
- Demonstrated experience managing in a geographically dispersed and diverse customer environment focused on outcome-based performance.
- Demonstrated ability building trusted, cross-organizational relationships with peers, employees, leadership and stakeholder communities to improve transparency, communication and alignment of customer priorities.
- Exceptional ability extending a culture where employees are inspired and motivated to succeed through inclusion, collaboration, commitment, and clear / open communications.
- Possesses the highest ethical standards, demonstrated by day-to-day actions as well as setting the ethical tone for the organization.
- Ability to travel as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Relevant experience managing fixed price contracts
- PMP Certification
- Agile/Dev-Ops Certification
- ITIL Certification

Pay Range:
Pay Range $199,300.00 - $320,625.00
