Position Summary
The Senior Analyst, FP&A – Commercial Revenue supports financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for commercial drug revenue across Non-Medicare segments within CVS Health’s Pharmacy Services business, including Large Client, CarelonRx, Aetna, FEHBP, and Maintenance Choice. Reporting to the Senior Manager, FP&A Non-Medicare Drug Revenue, this role contributes to the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly close deliverables, with a focus on client-level and drug-level revenue analytics. The Sr. Analyst delivers clear variance analysis and performance reporting that informs commercial revenue strategy and leadership decision-making.
- Supports the development of annual operating plan, multi-year plan, and quarterly revenue forecasts for commercial segments, including client-level and drug-level build-up.
- Performs monthly variance analysis for Non-Medicare commercial revenue, identifying and communicating drivers including volume, price, client mix, and formulary impacts.
- Builds and maintains financial models to evaluate revenue impacts from contract changes, drug mix shifts, and client utilization trends.
- Prepares weekly performance updates and management reporting packages, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity for leadership review.
- Supports ad-hoc analytical requests, special projects, and scenario modeling as directed by the Sr. Manager and Director.
Required Qualifications
- Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills, ideally in a PBM, managed care, or commercial health benefits environment.
- Understanding of commercial pharmacy revenue drivers including volume, price, client mix, and contractual structures.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with large data sets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Tableau or similar visualization tool experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to explain multi-driver variances clearly.
- Effective written and verbal communication; ability to prepare executive-ready reporting.
- Collaborative work style with ability to partner across Finance and with Network Pricing and Business teams.
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Master's degree preferred.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $112,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
