Join the King of Prussia, PA Enterprise Planning team! We are seeking a detail-oriented level 2 Production Planner to join our team. This is a business-critical role that engages cross-functionally with Manufacturing Program Managers, Shop Management, and other teams to facilitate the successful execution of our program requirements. You will be responsible for reviewing production schedules and coordinating with colleagues for timely demand load and procurement process execution. You will also be responsible for the planning functions associated with items manufactured at the site and for collaborating closely with cross-functional team members to achieve operational excellence. The successful applicant for this role must be comfortable working in several systems including (but not limited to) SAP, Excel, and Tableau.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Work with key stakeholders for assigned scope to ensure pre-requisite parts, materials, work instructions, etc are available prior to scheduled start in production
• Support release process for “make” assembly requirements and firm plans in SAP as needed (works closely with Manufacturing Program Managers and Enterprise Planning Colleagues)
• Routinely provide detailed status and support for assigned scope
• Maintain data integrity within the SAP MRP system to ensure adherence to metric requirements
• Take an active role in continuously improving planning methods, processes and tools
• Production order release, monitoring, and closure
• Facilitation of kit creation and delivery
• Material Master creation and management
• Manufacturing Bill of Material review
• Monitoring and recording of material usage
• Exception message monitoring and control
• Conduct floor stock availability and expiration date audits

Basic Qualifications
• Planning experience in a manufacturing / Production setting
• 1-2 years of prior Supply Chain or Shop Floor Support experience in manufacturing/production setting
• Above average Excel skills (including pivot tables, vlookups, graph creation, managing large sets of data)
• Experience working in an ERP/MRP environment (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Ability to perform occasional weekend work as/if required
• Must be a US Citizen to be considered and be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
Desired Skills
• Active Secret security clearance
• Prefer a Bachelors (or Masters) degree in a discipline related to Planning/Scheduling or Production (Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Finance, Program/Project Management, etc)
• 3+ years of prior Supply Chain or Shop Floor Support experience in a technical manufacturing environment (e.g. Aerospace, Automotive, Farm Implement, etc.)
• Experience using SAP as a production ERP/MRP system
• Tableau/Tool management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and cultivate change
• Demonstrated experience communicating/briefing executives, leaders, and customers
• Demonstrated experience with end-to-end lifecycle of planning and schedule management in support of program scope capture, implementation and execution
• Experience with manufacturing in a development environment
• Experience with manufacturing / production of Defense products
• APICS/ASCM certification(s)
• Experience working with a Quality Management System (AS or ISO)
• Green Belt certification
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67400.00 - $125200.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
