Standard Job Description
You will be the Operations Engineer Senior - Level 3 for the Operations Team which is responsible for driving cross‑functional improvement initiatives across the organization.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Operations Engineer Senior - Level 3 you will be responsible for creating comprehensive project charters, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and leading end‑to‑end improvement efforts that elevate safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop value‑stream maps, conduct root‑cause analyses, and create detailed process maps to identify improvement opportunities.
- Analyze operational and financial data to uncover trends, variation, capacity constraints, and waste; develop dashboards and KPI reports.
- Establish baseline performance, set measurable targets, and define key performance indicators for each initiative.
- Collaborate with operational leaders, frontline staff, engineering, quality, supply chain, IT, HR, and other functions to support stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and readiness assessments.
- Prepare regular performance updates, reports, and recommendations for senior leadership; escalate risks and barriers requiring executive support.

Performs activities involving the producibility and quality of the product, and the processes that directly pertain, encompassing primarily one or more of the following engineering disciplines: failure analysis, industrial, manufacturing, manufacturing equipment, process, product, quality assurance, reliability, supplier quality, Lean Six Sigma, test, and tool.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, operations management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years of experience in operations, project management, process improvement, industrial engineering, quality, or a related function.
- Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, DMAIC, PDCA, root-cause analysis, and value-stream mapping.
- Demonstrated ability to develop project plans, manage risks, coordinate resources, and deliver measurable results.
- Facilitation, presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Desired Skills
- Master’s degree in Industrial engineering, operations management, organizational leadership, or a related discipline.
- Experience analyzing operational data and translating findings into practical recommendations.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
- Change-management certification, such as Prosci, CCMP, or an equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, process capability, control charts, hypothesis testing, regression, and measurement-system analysis.
- Experience with analytical and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Minitab, SQL, or equivalent applications.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
