Within the Electronics Production Center, our teams manufacture cable assemblies, box assemblies, and other electronic hardware supporting critical programs. Quality is foundational to everything we do, and our inspection teams are key to ensuring products are built right and verified to requirements.
THE WORK
This requisition is for a Quality Supervisor responsible for leading the inspection team supporting manufacturing operations within the Electronics Production Center. This role provides direct oversight of inspectors performing in-process and final inspection activities across multiple product lines, including cable assemblies, box assemblies, and related hardware.
The selected candidate will ensure the inspection team is properly trained, equipped, and aligned to production priorities while maintaining compliance to engineering, contractual, and quality requirements. This role will work closely with Quality Engineers, Manufacturing, Production, and Program teams to drive product quality, improve execution, and strengthen inspection processes across the manufacturing floor.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and supervise inspectors supporting in-process and final inspection activities.
- Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications, workmanship standards, and work instructions.
- Prioritize daily inspection activities to support production schedules and delivery commitments.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Production, and Quality Engineering to resolve quality issues and improve product compliance.
- Support nonconformance evaluation and disposition activities, including coordination with MRB and quality teams, as applicable.
- Ensure inspectors have the proper tools, calibrated equipment, documentation, and training to perform effectively.
- Monitor team performance, standard work, and procedural compliance through routine oversight and coaching.
- Use quality metrics such as defects, escapes, rework, and corrective actions to drive improvement.
- Strengthen inspection processes, work instructions, and consistency across the team.
- Promote strong partnership across Quality, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure alignment and accountability.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience leading, supervising, or coordinating inspection personnel or quality-related teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with in-process and/or final inspection activities for hardware manufacturing.
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality requirements, inspection methods, and workmanship standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, manufacturing plans, and work instructions.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Production, and Quality Engineering.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.
- Familiarity with nonconformance documentation, defect tracking, and corrective action processes.
- U.S. Citizenship required for program support.
Desired Skills
- Experience in electronics manufacturing supporting cable assemblies, box assemblies, and related hardware.
- Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and AS9100.
- Experience leading or supporting inspectors in a high-reliability manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of SAP, Solumina, and Tableau for production, quality tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
- Experience using quality metrics to drive improvements in defects, escapes, rework, and corrective actions.
- Familiarity with inspection equipment, nonconforming material processes, and MRB support.
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience.
- Strong coaching, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in support of production and quality objectives.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
