Overview
Ensure allpaid/unpaid vehicles at all lot locations are accounted for and communicated with as needed. Assist in the Parking Ramps as a Parking Attendant as a secondary duty when needed or required.
Pay: $20 per hour

Responsibilities
- Inspect all assigned areas to ensure compliance with parking regulations.
- Utilization of all current and future technology in the completion of assigned duties.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
Examples include but are not limited to:
Light janitorial duties in the absence of contracted staff
Snow and ice removal from equipment, sidewalks, and entrances/exits as well as using ice melt (salt) on areas that are needed.
Special projects requested by client
Work additional shift on an “as needed basis”.
Assist with monitoring security of facility
Light mechanical or repair of equipment or fixed assets.
Duties and Expectations
- Working Hours and Reporting for Duty
Must possess scheduling flexibility in shifts and times according to business demands. Occasional reasonable accommodation or exchanges of working hours will be approved by immediate management staff when requested.
The dress code for the position will include proper uniform (provided) which must always be clean and in good repair. The provided name badge must be always worn and visible while working.

Expect that shift and break times are flexible and may be interrupted by business or customer/client needs.
- Must be able to read, speak and write the English language to understand and follow directions. Clear and effective communication with customers and coworkers is essential to success in this role as well as writing clear and concise reports.
- Must have a valid Minnesota Driver’s License and be able to pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Records Report) background.
Operations, Inspection & Reporting
- Provide suggestions for improving procedures with your supervisor.
- Respond quickly to all emergencies by contacting 911 for life-threatening situations, the Security Control Center for other assistance and/or the supervisor.
- Have functional knowledge of all parking equipment on site:
Effectively use the systems as intended
Evaluate proper general functionality of all devices and systems installed at location
Evaluate and effectively troubleshoot malfunctions and take necessary action to correct in timely manner
Perform basic repairs or maintenance of the equipment
- Monitor for and report the following exceptional conditions when they arise:
Equipment failures
Observed or suspected violations of company policy
Unsafe work practice or unsafe situation
Crime, vandalism or damage
Observed operational difficulties or situations, and be able to provide suggestions for solutions
- Take immediate corrective action to satisfactorily address any unacceptable conditions related to safety hazards, housekeeping, etc.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
- Ability to follow procedures and complete written reports.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving record requirements.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varying shift times.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
