In this role you will support the engineering team by performing preliminary and detailed level component and system design, development, and integration for flight as well as ground systems.
Your duties will include responsibility for the design, manufacture, procurement, analysis and test for the initiation system, separation, and mechanism ordnance and propulsion components, assemblies and systems. This job requires coordinating with customers, suppliers, test facilities, and other related fields including manufacturing, test, quality, structure design, analysis, systems engineering, and integration with affected subsystems and facilities. Other duties may include:
•Support Ordnance and Propulsion Subsystem Integration
•Assist on the conceptual development, requirements definition, and design of ordnance and propulsion components
•Perform requalification of production and test operations
•Develop product performance specifications, statements of work, and supplier data requirements for components
•Maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and technical analyses to support systems and components
•Ability to work on a multi-disciplined team performing detailed design/analysis activity.
•Provide user documentation and recommendations to data packages to support peer and customer reviews, present analysis data to engineering teams, customer technical representatives, and Program Office personnel at technical interchange meetings and design review.
