As a Senior Production Manager, you can expect your day to day to include maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. This position requires an essential understanding and control of the production process, accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing. REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: 5+ years' related experience in manufacturing. Food manufacturing experience highly preferred. This position requires an essential understanding and control of the production process, maintenance, shipping/receiving, sanitation, quality assurance, accounting, safety, and material management and is responsible for entire plant operation in the absence of the Plant Manager.
Other Requirements: Lead people by example accept and delegate responsibility display sound judgment and decision-making skills; problem solve in an efficient manner with sound follow up; strong managerial skills necessary; excellent safety and attendance records. Ability to work with department heads to meet safety production and quality yields and meet goals. All Tyson Team Members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety. This position is responsible for food safety food quality and legality.
