Overview
Develops, implements, monitors, and coordinates nutritional care plan based on assessment to clients needs with other health professionals.
Pay Rate: $38-$42 PER HOUR.
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Part-Time Clinical Dietitian | 4 days a week, 5 hours shifts (20 HRS weekly)
Lunch (30 minutes)
- Develops, implements, monitors, and coordinates nutritional care plan based on assessment to clients' needs with other health professionals.
- Counsels individuals and family members on nutritional principles, dietary plans, food selection and economics of nutrition.
- Adapts plans to individual client's needs, lifestyle and cultural eating habits. Provides follow-up and makes appropriate referrals based on the needs of individual.
- Plans and evaluates menus to meet nutritional needs of patients with consideration for food preferences.
- Communicates nutritional care data through electronic medical record systems.
- Provides consultation to medical team in prescription of diets, nutritional assessments, enteral and parental feedings.
- Participates in discharge planning. Recommends home care nutritional needs.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates ongoing patient food quality surveys to maintain quality standards of care.
Requirements
- Clinical Dietitian experience
- Must be a current Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND)
- Experience with inpatient clinical nutrition care
- Proficient in Nutrition Care Process, ADIME formatting, assessment of nutritional status, assessment of malnutrition risk and provision of recommendations on oral diets, enteral and parenteral nutrition.
- Familiar with attending ICU rounds, In-patient (Adult setting) nutrition focused physical examination, motivational interviewing and patient nutrition education.
Preferred
- Riverside County Food Handler's card or current ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification.
- Experience with Critical Care/ICU nutrition and Pediatric/Neonatal ICU nutrition.
Experience with CBORD software for food service and EPIC for electronic medical records, familiarity is a plus.
