Overview
Oracle Cloud EPM Products – FCCs, Freeform Cube, ARCS
ROLE OVERVIEW
- Own routine administration and maintenance of Oracle EPM Cloud products, including period end close activities, external financial reporting, and internal operational reporting.
- Provide Level 1 basic / Level 2 advanced application-level support, handling incidents and other production support requests.
- Coordinate with level 3 escalation support and managing end user expectations.
- Partner with various members across various technology and business teams to ensure application availability and support through peak processing cycles (e.g. month end, quarter end)
- Support transformation business initiatives where additional users and / or features may be requested as the business evolves.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the administration of Oracle EPM in resolving requests, incidents, and monthly close tasks.
- Partner with the vendor to ensure application maintenance occurs in line with cloud and internal procedures (system downtime, testing, post production validation, regression testing, etc.)
- Support business customers with sense of urgency and facilitate requests for support, enhancement, and operational / efficiency improvements.
- Support in testing new releases and enhancements
- Support monthly close tasks for FCCS, Freeform reporting & ARCS, as needed.
- Maintain admin documentation for EPM systems
- Security / Access provisioning
- Ownership of key SOX controls related to financial reporting, report validation, and transaction data flow.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in relevant fields, such as Finance, Accounting, and / or Information Systems.
- 3-5 years’ experience administering, developing, and / or supporting Oracle financial reporting applications such as Hyperion Essbase and / or EPM Cloud Products (Free Form cube, FCCs, EDMCS, etc)
- Ability to create Smart View ad hoc queries, FRS reports and Narrative reports
- Technical background with development knowledge of batch scripts, EPM Automate, connections to ledgers, data management and chart of accounts mapping.
- Working knowledge of data extracts and updates within single or multiple tables.
- Working experience and understanding of all phases of the application development life cycle.
- Strong knowledge in accounting, reporting, and / or financial systems
- In-depth problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Can manage multiple competing priorities.
- Available to support to ensure application availability, including after hours, if needed
- Communicates effectively to articulate issues, status, resolutions.
