Overview
The ABM Enterprise Services Center seeks a self-motivated individual eager to advance their career. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate as a business partner with the FP&A and operations teams within a shared services environment.
Essential Functions:
- Execute month-end closing tasks promptly for designated areas, including:
- Inputting data into the general ledger
- Managing debits and credits
- Managing reconciliations
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
- Consistently apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Provide expert guidance on accounting matters to field personnel.
- Proactively identify and prepare journal entries for assigned areas.
- Drive and implement process improvements within the accounting function.
- Identify, analyze, and communicate variances and their underlying drivers.
- Conduct detailed trend and account analyses.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders.
- Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts with precision.
- Prepare and review journal entries.
- Develop Prepared by Client (PBC) schedules and support external and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audits.
Minimum Requirements:
- 0-2 years of Accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven track record of process improvement and optimization.
- Experience in conducting reconciliations and preparing journal entries.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of JDE/ORC Cloud preferred but not required.
