Program Manager, Software Development
KBR is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a Software Development Team in Ann Arbor, MI. You will ensure the successful execution of a portfolio of projects, transform development practices, and pursue new opportunities.

KBR's Advanced ISR Special Programs team in Ann Arbor conducts sponsored Research and Development to improve our nation’s capability to execute Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions. We address difficult technical problems, as posed by increasingly complex operating environments, and develop solutions that enable our customers’ success and safety.

Responsibilities:
- Provide business ownership and execution responsibility for a portfolio of related software development projects, transitioning advanced signal and image processing algorithms into demonstrable software products, pursuant to operational implementation within advanced remote sensing systems.
- Provide oversight to ensure fulfillment of project scope while adhering to cost and schedule constraints
- Work with development teams to implement appropriate, efficient DevOps practices and tools.
- Collaborate with technical experts while leading the identification and capture of new software development opportunities to expand your portfolio.
Required Qualifications:
- Academic degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science, with accompanying years of relevant experience as indicated:
- Bachelor's + 10 years
- Master's + 5 years
- Demonstrated relevant and successful experience as a project manager in the development of deliverable software products.
- Participation R&D business capture through solution development, customer engagement, and proposal content preparation.
- Experience working with MATLAB engineering analysis code and formal code development in C++.
- Experience with agile software development methods and DevOps processes and tools
- Excellence in oral and written technical communication.
- Must have an Active Top Secret Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficiency in C++ or Python programming languages
- Experience with software development that efficiently implemented advanced algorithms, via high-performance scientific computing and/or parallel processing technologies.
- Participation R&D business capture through solution development, customer engagement, and proposal content preparation
- Professional certification in areas of relevance to software development management and processes (e.g., Agile methodology, Project Management Professional - PMP)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Active SCI access
