Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Modeling and Simulation Specialist to lead the development and implementation of advanced modeling and simulation (M&S) solutions for C4ISR systems and autonomous technologies. The Senior Modeling and Simulation Specialist will play a crucial role in analyzing, testing, and validating software and hardware systems to ensure mission success and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Modeling and Simulation Development:
- Conduct analysis and develop M&S frameworks for C4ISR systems and autonomous technologies.
- Develop and validate simulation models to inform program reviews, strategic planning, and operations coordination.
- Analyze and assess M&S interoperability, capabilities, and cost-effectiveness for system evaluations and training exercises.
Technical Analysis and Engineering:
- Perform R&D in areas such as wireless open architecture, sensor integration, and network design for prototype development.
- Conduct engineering analysis to develop executable plans for hardware and software integration.
- Collaborate with Government stakeholders to resolve design and implementation challenges.
Systems Integration and Testing:
- Develop test plans and conduct analysis for field experiments related to advanced wireless technology.
- Create acceptance test requirements and assess software and hardware adherence with IA policies and procedures.
- Perform risk mitigation recommendations and document best practices for system implementation.
Research and Development:
- Research and assess emerging technologies for autonomous systems, including ISR sensors and unmanned platforms.
- Identify performance requirements and develop system architectures to satisfy Government requirements.
- Recommend technical capability strategies aligned with Government direction for mid-term and long-term objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 13+ years of experience in modeling and simulation development for defense or government agencies.
- Strong expertise in M&S frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience with system integration, testing, and acceptance criteria development.
- Individual may require 8140 / 8570 baseline certifications based on actual job duties.
- Active Secret clearance
Contract Award expected Summer 2024. Positions are contingent upon award and funding.

Basic Compensation:
$93,385 - $140,030
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
