Job Purpose:
The Project Manager - Site will oversee all aspects of the project at the construction site, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. They will be responsible for managing a team of professionals and ensuring that all project milestones are met.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the project at the construction site, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
- Coordinate with the design and engineering teams to ensure that all project specifications are met
- Oversee the procurement process for materials and equipment required for the project
- Manage a team of professionals, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget
- Communicate with stakeholders and clients to provide updates on project progress and address any issues that may arise
- Develop and implement project plans, including risk management strategies and mitigation plans
- Monitor and report on project progress, including key performance indicators and milestones
- Lead regular project meetings with stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and safety standards
- Manage project documentation and record-keeping, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may impact project delivery
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to support their professional development
- Evaluate and adjust project processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Represent the company at project-related meetings, conferences, and events as required.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Experience in FEED, design, onshore, brownfield, and construction site projects
- Knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies
- Ability to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Manage and oversee all site activities, including logistics, construction progress, and health and safety measures
- Coordinate with site personnel, contractors, and vendors to ensure efficient and timely completion of construction activities
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess work quality, progress, and compliance with project specifications
- Implement and enforce site safety protocols and ensure that all site personnel adhere to safety regulations at all times
- Address and resolve any site-related issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction phase
- Monitor site budget and expenditures, and make adjustments as needed to stay within budget constraints
- Collaborate with site engineers and supervisors to optimize construction processes and address any construction challenges
- Interact with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities as needed to provide updates on site activities and ensure project compliance with regulations and standards.
Technical Skills:
- Extensive 15+ years of overall experience in site management to provide expert guidance and oversight on all site activities
- Proficiency in project management software
- Knowledge of construction techniques and practices
- Understanding of engineering principles and design standards

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Qualification Requirements:
- Mandatory Bachelor's of Engineering in a related field
- Preferred Master's in Engineering in a related field
Work Environment:
The Project Manager - Site will work primarily at the construction site, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the project. This may involve working long hours and some travel to various project locations. The work environment may be fast-paced and demanding, but also rewarding as the Project Manager sees the project come to fruition.
