The Opportunity
KBRs Land Domain Team is currently seeking qualified and experienced Integrated Logistics/Product Support (ILS/I) Manager.
The ILS Manager's responsibilities will include:
Oversight, management and delivery of ILS documentation (concepts, plans, instructions, support contract statement of work, data item/set descriptions/SOW and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) documentation).
Provision of Subject Matter Expertise (SME) advice to the review of contract deliverables
Assist with planning of the ILS Program including the development of ILS strategies, concepts and workforce plan.
Provision of ILS specialist advice associated with the analysis, definition and planning for project execution.
Provide Inventory Management support utilising MILIS skills.
Provision of SME materiel sustainment advice to higher management and technical reviews.
Liaison with internal and external stakeholders (PMs, Engineers, client groups, functional departments) to ensure ILS activities are appropriately managed.
Other project support activities when required by the Project Director or their delegate.
Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
The successful candidate will be/have:
A suitably qualified ILS Professional with a minimum of 7+ years experience within Defence or a related industry
Strong working knowledge of Defence Logistics systems, tools and processes
Demonstrated experience in the current Capability Life Cycle (advantageous)
Provide leadership and management of the ILS team
Support tactical and strategic ILS planning in support of the Project Forward Work Plan
Work collaboratively and influence the work teams to deliver in accordance with the agreed Project Schedule
Provide ILS input and advice to support decision making groups (IPT, PSG’s), risk mitigation and requirements setting working groups
Attend meetings as required and provide input relating to ILS
Conduct Risk Management for ILS within the Project Risk structure.
Develop and review Integrated Logistics Support Instructions.
Participate in Capability Proposal (CP) meetings and working groups
Participate in CoA verification trials.
Provide specialist support for procurement planning.
Provide input into cost estimates/sustainment (FELCCA) costs as required by the CoA.
Provide input to Transition of Support Responsibilities of Capability Proposals.
Perform MILIS and CMT-L tasks as required.
Represent ILS to the Project Senior Leadership Team, including opportunities and risks.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure introduction into service activities are appropriately managed.
This role is based at Victoria Barracks in Melbourne and requires a current AGSVA Security Clearance.
