We are looking for a Licensed Mental Health Counselorto join the team who is responsible for integrating the physical, mental and psychological wellness of our service members and their families for the Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) contract to optimize and sustain Special Operations Forces (SOF) mission readiness, longevity, and performance through integrated and holistic human performance programs designed to strengthen the Force and Family. In these roles we are looking for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to work within a unit, on-site, as a Behavioral Health Counselor.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Implementing policies, conducts screenings, clinical counseling and case management services, and prevention programming.
Serve as a point of contact for behavioral health services for active-duty Special Operations personnel, retired military members, their families, and others as authorized by DoD policy.
Provide a spectrum of behavioral health interventions, including interviewing, behavioral assessment, and evidenced-based therapies in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological and neuropsychological disorders using the following skills: individual, family and group psychotherapy, couples therapy, alcohol, and drug treatment evaluations.
Plan, develop and implement programs designed to foster positive healthy relationships within the family structure and unit connectedness.
Promote and maintain communication and harmonious working relationships within the unit, POTFF program, and other DoD and outside agencies.
Education, Credentialing, Certification and Clearance requirements:
Must have a current state license to practice independently as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top-Secret Clearance
Shall have and maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) as required for credentialing at servicing medical treatment facilities.
Must possess a license for independent practice as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or a Licensed Professional Counselor from a U.S. state, territory, or district.
