THE WORK
Your responsibilities will include: Develop, negotiate, and award contracts while managing the full contract lifecycle. Provide expert guidance on contractual compliance, risk mitigation, and regulatory requirements. Serve as the authorized company representative in customer interactions, fostering strong relationships. Partner with program leadership to align contract actions with strategic objectives. Maintain detailed contract records and oversee contract administration activities.

Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced contracts professional to lead proposal development, negotiations and contract execution for development and sustainment efforts within the CH-53K portfolio. In this role, you will perform contracts management functions across the full lifecycle of contract actions — from capture and proposal development through contract award and all phases of administration. You will provide business advice and guidance to, and coordinate closely with, cross-functional partners including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to manage a broad range of responsibilities spanning solicitations, capture, negotiations, and contract terms and obligations. As an authorized and empowered representative of the Company, you will serve as the primary interface with Customer buying representatives, building effective working relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. You will coordinate resolution of contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance, and ensure contractual compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. You will lead and support internal and external audits as needed, verifying compliance and ensuring final contract documents accurately reflect agreements reached in negotiations. You may also help plan and deliver training on contract practices across the Company, and will collect contractual data and compile reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.
Basic Qualifications
- Demonstrated DoD Contracting Experience
- Experience with all phases of proposal development, contracts negotiation and administration
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
- Experience with FAR/DFARs
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Desired Skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Should be detail and teamwork oriented.
- Candidate willing and able to engage on routine and unique problems/issues to help develop solutions for complex contracts.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
