Maxim Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide nursing services within school settings. Opportunities are available for full-time, part-time, and substitute positions supporting students throughout the school day.
As a School LPN with Maxim Healthcare, you may work in a variety of settings, including one-to-one student care, bus/transportation nursing, and general school population nursing. This rewarding role allows you to make a meaningful impact on students' health, safety, and educational success.

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to students with a variety of healthcare needs, including:
- Tracheostomy care
- Ventilator management
- G-tube feedings
- Seizure monitoring and administration of rescue medications
- Diabetes management
- Medication administration
- Personal care and health support
- Deliver individualized 1:1 nursing care for assigned students as needed.
- Provide transportation nursing services, including riding the bus to and from school when required.
- Support the health needs of the broader school population in collaboration with school staff and administrators.
- Monitor student health status and respond appropriately to medical concerns or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and Maxim Healthcare policies.
- Communicate effectively with families, school personnel, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Current Health Certificate (if required by facility or school district).
- Current PPD, TB Test, or Chest X-Ray, as required.
- Current BLS/CPR Certification.
- One year of nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in school and community settings.
