THE WORK
Manages one or more shifts or one or more functions in the repair, overhaul, and modification of units produced in the shop.
Responsibilities include:
• Coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Training the team and driving for quality, costs and throughput improvements.
• Overseeing and remaining accountable for the costs/hours for all items in respective areas.
• Helping develop metrics to improve the business and validate ROI to include all Lean manufacturing opportunities.
• Serving as a roadblock remover with the ability to drive performance while maintaining ethical compliance in all aspects of the business.

You are a decisive leader with a proven track record of managing technical teams and optimizing manufacturing processes through Lean principles. You possess the strategic mindset necessary to drive organizational growth while maintaining ethical compliance and operational excellence.
