This position will be a key member of the Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) team in support of the final design, development, production, integration, test, and delivery of this critical capability focused on the requirements development, decomposition, and verification.
As a Staff System Engineer, you will be responsible to execute and manage Systems Engineering projects, IRADs, or Proposals.
Some of the roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support IRAD and proposal efforts for the SEIT team, including system design, analysis, test, and integration activities
- Organize and support major program reviews for subsystems, including SRR, PDR, CDR, TIM
- Ensure completeness of converting mission requirements into system solution
- Definitize the system architecture and subsequent design
- Develop/define interfaces between critical elements
- Perform the necessary analysis to accomplish mission requirement conversion, architecture definitization
- 5+ years professional experience.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
