Support the execution for the AMRAAM Development Program, ensuring alignment with Q&MA policies, contractual requirements, and product performance requirements.

Partner closely with Program Management to identify risks, implement mitigation plans, and ensure quality performance supports cost, schedule, and technical objectives.

Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) in accordance with AS9145 and New Product Introduction (NPI) to establish Product Maturity
-
Use technical expertise to review Engineering work products (e.g., technical analysis, technical data packages) to identify and eliminate defects.

Participate in technical peer reviews of initial design releases, change incorporation, prototype development, and test plans
-
Evaluate technical requirements and manufacturing trade-offs to assess potential risks or opportunities and collaborate with Engineering on mitigation action plans
-
Lead root cause initiatives and implement corrective and preventative actions.

Support new pursuits through proposal development.
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience
-
Engineering experience in the defense and/or aerospace industry.

Experience with reviewing and implementing technical changes
-
Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
-
Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.

Ability to obtain a Final Secret US Government issued security clearance is required prior to start.
Qualifications We Prefer:

STEM degree

Experienced in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)/AS9145

Familiarity with Risk & Opportunity analysis and Management Boards (ROMB)

Experience supporting manufacturing, audits, and hardware sell-off activities
-
Relevant Certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, CORE, Shainin Red X, GD&T, ASQ)

Basis of Estimate (BOE) or equivalent training
-
Experience organizing and executing meetings with cross-functional partners
-
Previous experience with AMRAAM hardware and suppliers

Experience with statistical evaluation tools
-
Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with effective communication for engaging Senior leadership

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
