The Global Engineering Center in Puerto Rico is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer I, to join our Military Avionics organization. We are in search of a strong, passionate and action-oriented candidate with a collaborative mindset who strives to exceed expectations.
This person will be part of the Flight Management & Controls team. In this role you will be responsible for design, development, integration and verification activities in a hands-on work environment to address and implement Military Avionics solutions. This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.
What YOU will do:
- Support programs on Software Development Lifecycle activities (Requirements, Design, Code, Testing, etc.).
- Perform in a cross-functional agile team to deliver Program milestones.
- Work in close coordination with other system/software engineers within the domain to support Next Gen FMS using Collins Aerospace engineering processes.
