Job Description In this Finisher position, you will be responsible for applying a variety of standard and experimental finishes to both production and prototype machined parts in compliance with military specifications. This role is assigned to first shift under a structured 4/10 work schedule. The shift starts at 5am and runs through 3:30pm.
Key responsibilities include:
• Ensuring accurate surface masking and preparation, and precisely mixing epoxies and solvents to specified ratios based on weight, volume, or viscosity, supported by a thorough understanding of measurement tools and material interactions.
• Preparing the surfaces of parts, assemblies, and finished products through cleaning, stripping, abrading, sanding, masking, and stenciling.
• Selecting, preparing, and applying finishing materials—such as paint, varnish, and enamel—to perform coating and touch‑up operations as required.
• Monitoring and verifying product quality in accordance with established statistical process control methodologies and procedures.
• Interpreting blueprints and process documentation to develop and execute finishing processes, applications, and techniques where adherence to critical thickness tolerances is essential.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - 1 year of related work experience
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Must be able to lift 20-40lbs.
- Adept at conveying information clearly and persuasively across diverse audiences
- Must be able to follow processes and written instructions
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - H.S. diploma or GED preferred

- Lean Manufacturing Experience
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $47614 - $76181
