Not RequiredThe Quality Inspector III ensures that the quality of UTC suppliers, products and processes are compliant with internal and regulatory standards and are continuously improving.
Hours: 7 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday, occasional Saturdays as business needs dictate.
What You Will Do

Works under general supervision to assist with inspecting arriving, in-process and completed products for quality.

Performs basic to moderately complex in-process, final bench and product feature inspections.

Inspects actual products on the floor and on-line.

Performs basic to moderately complex production checks and conformity inspections.

Records measurement data in written form along with computer entries
-
Enters data into MRP system Epicor for inspection results

Entry into record Logs, Excel, and Forms used in Quality Records
-
Uses basic hand measurement tools such as standard measurement tapes, micrometers, and microscope.
Qualifications You Must Have
• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
