Overview
Job SummaryResponsible for performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of Company operated aircraft and articles as assigned in accordance with Air Methods’ policies and procedures. Ensures company operational goals and objectives are met, while guaranteeing all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals. Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
- Perform inspections and repairs in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, and service bulletins.
- Verify part numbers and serial numbers of components installed or removed.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, and maintenance manuals.
- Participate actively in the continuous improvement phase of the company’s Safety Management System (SMS).
- Maintain a clean and professional work area.
- Utilize the company’s ERP system (Ramco) for accurate time tracking.
- Identify parts, tools, and supplies needed for non-routine discrepancies.
- Perform maintenance on shop support equipment.
- Mentor and train less experienced mechanics.
- Participate in LEAN process improvements in the shop.
- Maintains work area in a clean and professional manner
- Other Duties as assigned

- High school diploma or GED, with 2 to 5 years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred.
- Experience with FAR 145 operations preferred.
Skills
- Expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on complex mechanical systems.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, 337s, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives (ADs).
- Familiar with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a professional attitude.
- Efficient in using electronic manuals and navigating vendor data.
- Competent in using the Company’s ERP system (Ramco).
- Strong communication skills.
- Creative and adept at problem-solving in troubleshooting tasks.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Computer Skills

Pay Range
USD $55,438.24 - USD $83,168.80 /Yr.
