PC&CSO DEPUTY ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT 1-4
KBR is seeking a Precommissioning and Commissioning, Start-up and Operations (PC&CSO) Deputy Electrical Superintendent for a multi-billion USD dollar LNG Project.
The LNG Project comprises a 700MW Combine Cycle Power Plant, Pretreatment Units, Utility Packages, Storage Tanks and Jetty facilities that are all interconnected via more than 30 Electrical Substations with Voltages ranging from 138kV to 480V.
Education/Credentials:
- Qualifications to perform Electrical works as Tradesman on the State of Louisiana.
- Qualifications to perform Electrical Switching Operations up to (and including) 13.8kV (or higher) on the State of Louisiana.
- Previous experience as Electrical Commissioning Superintendent on large (multi-billion dollar) Oil & Gas Project.
- Previous experience as Electrical Commissioning Superintendent on Power Plants with unit ratings in excess of 25MW.
- Previous experience as Electrical Commissioning Superintendent on Facilities with large Variable Speed Drives.
- Over 20 Years of overall Electrical Commissioning experience on progressive roles from Technician to Electrical Commissioning Superintendent.
- Previous experience organizing the electrical component of a Permit to Work System and associated isolation certificates and Procedures.
- NFPA 70E (Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace) Certification/Training (or equivalent).
- High School diploma and formal technical training in electrical construction, maintenance, and testing (or Equivalent Experience) is required.
- Proficient Level with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and MS Project.
- Previous Experience coordinating the testing of Electrical Protection, SCADA, Power Management and Transfer Schemes Systems particularly with Multilin, Micom, Siemens, SEL and Beckwith devices.
- Valid TWIC Card.
The PC&CSO Electrical Superintendent:
- Responsible for the day-to-day Electrical Commissioning activities related to all the Electrical Equipment on Site (e.g., Switchgears, Generators, UPS systems and electric Motors).
- Provides daily direction to the PC & CSO Electrical Supervisors and Technicians and ensures that all the required activities are completed on a timely manner.
- Provides direction for the development of Switching Programs for first Energization events and other complex switching scenarios (such as those required to support the Dynamic Testing of a Generator).
- Participates in regular progress and coordination meetings with other Commissioning, Construction and Client personnel.
- Prepares the final submission of the Electrical PC & CSO Procedures.
- Ensures that the Inspection and Test Records and the PC & CSO Electrical Procedures are filled and signed on a timely manner.
- Responsible for the deployment of the Electrical Commissioning as-builts Plan and for its implementation and follow-up across all the Commissioning areas.
- Responsible for the deployment of the Electrical Plan to follow-up and clear Punch List items on Packages undergoing Commissioning Activities.
- Provides Electrical Support to the Ready for Energization and Ready for Start-up Walk-down Coordinators.
- Oversees the implementation of the electrical component of the Permit to Work System and associated Electrical Isolation Certificates (LOTO).
- Responsible for the Electrical Safe Practices and follow-up with dedicated Electrical toolboxes to enhance Electrical Safety Culture.
- Identifies the required resources for the Electrical Commissioning activities (personnel, test equipment, consumables, and PPE).
- Provides progress updates to the Commissioning Planner.
- Coordinates Complex Interface Tests with 3rd Party equipment representatives and other Commissioning Disciplines.
- Monitors the Status and usage of the Electrical Spare Parts.
- Reports to / takes direction from the PC&CSO Electrical Manager.
