- The Packaging Technical Specialist will coordinate materials, testing, testing equipment, reports, maintenance, support 3D model making, and some administration work with regards to equipment capabilities to support new product launches and product/package qualifications.
- The candidate will provide day to day operational management of the Packaging Lab ensuring compliance with all Henkel corporate SHE standards policies, and procedures.
- The candidate will communicate with package engineers on testing, communicate with suppliers regarding operation, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory test equipment, train and supervise all other technicians and interns in the lab, and ensure the continued function of lab capabilities in support of the Lab Manager’s responsibilities.
- Partner with Packaging Engineers to assess project testing requirements, prioritize laboratory workload, perform hands-on package testing, and coordinate testing activities among technicians, temporary staff, and interns to ensure timely project support.
- Support the ongoing development and expansion of laboratory capabilities by establishing standard work practices and test methods, evaluating new equipment, coordinating supplier demonstrations, and providing recommendations to enhance Packaging Lab performance and efficiency.
