Job Description:
GDIT's Federal Health, Military Health Team is hiring a NETWORK DISSEMINATION COORDINATOR to support the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence (TBICoE) located at Ft Bragg, in Fayetteville, NC.
The NETWORK DISSEMINATION COORDINATOR will be responsible for a variety of duties to provide education to Service Members, veterans and their families on the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of traumatic brain injury.
SUMMARY :
Under the direction of designated TBICoE Headquarters and site leadership, the incumbent provides traumatic brain injury education, outreach, dissemination, and implementation support to healthcare providers, service members, veteran, military leaders, and community stakeholders. The position promotes awareness and adoption of evidence-informed TBI prevention, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and clinical-care standards.
The incumbent collaborates with TBICoE Research, Dissemination, and Implementation Science staff; Defense Health Agency partners; and local and regional stakeholders to deliver training, support research and product dissemination initiatives, facilitate stakeholder engagement, gather product-utilization feedback, and report dissemination activities. Because the position supports both local and regional activities, the incumbent coordinates regional efforts working under the designated TBICoE HQ government lead and contract NDC program manager.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING :

Disseminate TBICoE-approved TBI initiatives, research findings, clinical tools, and standards of care in coordination with TBICoE Headquarters, the Research and Dissemination Sections, Defense Health Agency partners, and site-specific staff.

Plan, develop, and deliver evidence-based TBI education, outreach, and training for healthcare providers, clinicians, service members, veterans, military line/unit leaders, and civilian/community stakeholders. Deliver programs effectively through virtual and in-person formats.

Lead and support large-scale enterprise education and training initiatives in collaboration with TBICoE colleagues and partner organizations, including the use of virtual training platforms and other educational technologies.

Facilitate implementation of new or updated TBI clinical standards, practices, and resources by following established dissemination and implementation plans and tailoring outreach to the needs of clinical and operational communities.

Build and maintain relationships with clinical, operational, research, and community stakeholders at TBICoE network sites and across the Defense Health Agency to promote TBI awareness, support targeted research-study enrollment, and sustain communication with relevant TBI communities.

Collect, coordinate, and support analysis of stakeholder feedback and implementation data related to TBICoE products, training activities, and dissemination initiatives. Provide recommendations to TBICoE Headquarters government leads regarding data-capture methods, product utility, and implementation assessments.

Document and report dissemination activities, outcomes, and stakeholder engagement efforts through monthly activity reports and other required contract, program, or internal deliverables.

Coordinate local, regional, and national dissemination activities with designated government site directors and TBICoE Headquarters government leads, particularly for activities that extend beyond local site authority. Travel locally, regionally, and nationally as required to meet outreach and education objectives.
What You'll Need :
-
Master’s degree in a health-related or clinical discipline, such as nursing, public health, rehabilitation counseling, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, psychology, social work, or a related field.

2+ years of experience teaching healthcare or related topics.

2 years of experience in the care of patients with TBI (inpatient, outpatient, and/or rehabilitation settings) required.

Prior experience within the DoD/VA systems of care strongly preferred.
-
Experience with the development of education and training activities for the healthcare field; specifically for curriculum used to educate patients, healthcare providers, military line/unit leaders and the public on TBI-related issues.

Background investigation or security clearance eligibility.
-
Knowledge of assessment and treatment for traumatic brain injuries.
-
Experience with teaching healthcare topics.
-
Excellent communications skills to include public speaking, classroom, and meeting facilitation, interpersonal, networking and building collaborations required.

Must be able to work independently as well as function as part of a team.
-
Computer proficiency – software and hardware as related to educational program implementation for both presentations and database management required.

Excellent time management and organizational skills, creativity, attention to detail, and flexibility are a must.

Adheres to legal, professional, and ethical codes with respect to confidentiality and privacy.

The likely salary range for this position is $62,900 - $85,100. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
