We are seeking a detailed and organized individual to join our Continuous Improvement team in our Modular Construction Program. In this role, you will be responsible for managing aspects of Continuous Improvement, Process Improvement and Change Management. Your primary duties will include capturing and tracking changes that will improve the overall product quality to our customers and ensure implementation of solutions in Design, Manufacturing and Site Construction are carried out. Additionally, you will also be involved in R&D project coordination, handling scopes of work and subcontract management.
Responsibilities:
- Design Change Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate programmatic design changes required for modular construction projects
- Develop and implement processes to ensure seamless integration of design changes, minimizing disruption and maximizing efficiency
- Change management will include the preparation of design change orders tracking approvals, communicating across the team, and confirming implementation
- Work with CI Manager to determine when changes will be implemented
- Continuous Improvement Analysis
- Conduct thorough analysis of completed modular construction projects to identify areas of improvement and capture lessons learned
- Utilize this knowledge to develop best practices, standardize processes, and enhance overall project performance
- All project teams conduct CI discussions on a regular basis
- Assist CI Manager with efforts and track initiatives
- Change Management
- Assist change management initiatives to drive continuous improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to effectively communicate and manage change, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and technologies
- Work with team to establish protocol
- Guide implementation efforts with multiple manufacturers and construction project teams
- Drive excellence in change management
- Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains throughout the modular construction lifecycle
- Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and enhance productivity
- Assist in R&D efforts across various disciplines as needed
- Coordinate with CI Manager and internal design manager(s) to get approvals on R&D efforts
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Utilize data-driven insights to monitor and evaluate performance metrics related to modular construction
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate findings, trends, and recommendations to senior management
- Training and Development
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members involved in modular construction
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization
Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:
- The ideal candidate will be both self-motivated and innovative and have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, assertive and a proactive communication style, and the ability to continuously adapt and thrive in a very dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated experience within Continuous Improvement, Process Improvement and/or Change Management
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management or a related field.
- 3-5 years experience in Manufacturing, Construction, Off-Site Construction, Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement or similar methodologies is highly desirable.
- The ability to speak Spanish is also desirable

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
