Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator to manage and support our Salesforce environment, ensuring its optimal performance and alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and supporting Salesforce to improve workflow efficiency, enhance data quality, and drive user adoption across departments. This role requires strong technical skills in Salesforce administration, a deep understanding of business processes, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain our Salesforce environment, including user accounts, permissions, roles, and profiles.
- Performing regular Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): flows, process builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, visualforce pages (basic understanding of apex/html/css), dashboards, reports, and lightning app builder.
- Installing/managing packages, assisting with integrations, and handling basic add-ons/extensions.
- Adept understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)
- Make decisions regarding future applications of Salesforce in tandem with our VP of Security, including departmental/company access, transition and automation of administrative tasks and forms, integrations, etc.
- Compiling data from multiple locations into SFDC to create relationships between different Salesforce objects, in an effort to orchestrate streamlined reporting across multiple, external applications (VistaCenter, SureMDM, QAD)
- Identifying and gathering requirements from users and stakeholders
- Performing regular inventory imports, updates, and changes for the purpose of tracking and reporting on device utilization within Salesforce, specifically for the Cardiac market
- Working closely with SalesOps to ensure optimal utilization and automation of SalesOps tasks within Salesforce
- Configure and customize Salesforce objects, page layouts, fields, and workflows to support evolving business needs.
- Design and implement automation processes (such as flows, process builders, and validation rules) to streamline business workflows.
Perform regular system maintenance, data cleaning, and backup tasks to ensure data accuracy and security.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation to increase user adoption and knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date on Salesforce platform updates and best practices, implementing new features to benefit the organization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to Salesforce functionality.
- Assist in data migration, integration with other systems, and development of custom applications as required.

o Salesforce administration

o Data Analytics
§ Generating and maintaining reporting templates for external departments as needed (IDTF, Engineering, Ops, Sales, etc.)
§ Curating and disseminating daily, weekly, monthly reporting to give leadership a 360 view of business
§ Assist stakeholders in making key decisions by compiling/interpreting data from multiple software platforms (SureMDM, VistaCenter, Salesforce, QAD)
- Training new employees within the SalesOps function, including Order and Inventory Management tasks
- Primary Salesforce Liaison for Sales Ops responsible for managing VitalConnect Salesforce needs internally and meeting regularly with our SFDC Account Manager alongside our IT department
- Flexibility toward demands and changes in the role as the company grows.
- Alongside leadership, creates and maintains business reporting standards across multiple applications (VistaCenter, Salesforce, SureMDM), constantly reevaluating best reporting practices based on business and leadership needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Salesforce administration, including configuration, customization, and data management.
- Familiarity with automation tools, such as Flow and Process Builder.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
