The Opportunity
Flock Safety is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Salesforce Admin to join our growing IT Technology Services Salesforce Engineering team. As a Salesforce Admin, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and implementation of Salesforce solutions to support our business processes. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with 4 or more years of hands-on experience in Salesforce administration to contribute to the success of a high-growth company.
At the core of our operations, the Salesforce system at Flock Safety serves as a central hub, influencing every department, be it Sales, Support, or the orchestration of field technician activities through Salesforce Field Services. Anticipate not just navigating, but actively contributing to shaping this dynamic landscape, propelling every facet of our business to unprecedented heights, and executing on our aggressive 2025 roadmap and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with our Sr Admins, Admins and Developers to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
Design and implement Salesforce customizations, configurations, and enhancements to meet business needs.
Develop, test, and deploy Salesforce components, including custom objects, fields, flows, validation rules.
Take ownership of the Tier 1 SFDC Helpdesk queue, providing technical support and training to Salesforce end users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and facilitating training sessions as needed.
Manage user roles, profiles, permissions, and security settings to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and workflows to provide actionable insights and streamline business processes.
Stay current with Salesforce best practices, new features, and updates, and proactively recommend enhancements to maximize platform effectiveness.
Lead Salesforce integration projects with third-party applications and systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
Act as a subject matter expert on Salesforce functionality and best practices, guiding the team on system usage and optimization strategies.
Maintain documentation of system configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Provide support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
The Skillset
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Salesforce Administrator certification required; additional certifications such as Advanced Administrator or App Builder are a plus.
Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proficient in Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration, including but not limited to workflows, validation rules, salesforce flows, and custom objects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus.

The First 30 Days
Complete onboarding activities and start to meet your peers and stakeholders.
Participate in ongoing 1-1s with your manager and team meetings.
Working with existing SFDC Administrator to help resolve day-to-day Salesforce helpdesk cases. With the end goal of becoming the primary point of contact.
Start to familiarize yourself with the Flock SFDC Architecture.
The First 60 Days
Starting to take active ownership of the Tier 1 SFDC Helpdesk queue as the primary point of contact, providing technical support and training to Salesforce end users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and facilitating training sessions as needed.
Take over onboarding and offboarding of SFDC Users.
Good foundation of the SFDC Flock System architecture.
Contributing to our bi-weekly sprints, closing meaningful sprint stories.
90 Days & Beyond
Now you’re rolling and have started speaking confidently to our systems and processes, while still continuing to learn.
Take primary ownership of the Tier 1 and Tier 2 SFDC Helpdesk queue, providing technical support and training to Salesforce end users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and facilitating training sessions as needed.
Take on lead role of one key “big rocks” project on our 2025 roadmap.
Actively contributing to our bi-weekly sprints, closing 10 or more story points per sprint.

The Panel: Learn more about the team, responsibilities, and workflows. You should be prepared to speak about past projects, how you collaborate and communicate with others, and how you live our values. Depending on the team and role you are interviewing for, you may meet with several teammates as well as cross-functional partners.
The Executive Review: A chance to meet an executive in your function and view Flock from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more.
Salary & Equity: In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary of $90,000 - $115,000 as well as stock options.
