Responsibilities:
- Manage physical daily cycle counts as well as research and correct inventory related variances, while providing accurate data and reports to the Inventory Control Supervisor or Manager with the use of Eclipse and or Excel.
- Observe, audit, record, report and correct discrepancies from all areas of operations involving inventory control.
- Identify barriers to performance and assist manager in identifying/analyzing root cause and effect and develop action plans to resolve.
- Work with Inventory Control team to develop "continual training" strategy for non-exempt employees within area and cross-functionally with other supervisors.
- Ability to be trained or help with training on system enhancements. Also have the capability to make recommended improvements and or changes to the system or processes.
- Work with the returns team on Customer or Vendors RGA’s that requires the involvement of the Inventory Control group.
- Work with the wire team to manage the Scrap Wire process.
- Works effectively in a multi-tasking environment.
- Performing other tasks as directed or requested by Inventory Control Supervisor or Managers.
- Ability to operate forklift or become certified to operate a forklift.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to motivate, foster teamwork and provide positive reinforcement to a team/s. Ability to work as a team member with other employees, supervisors and management.
- Ability to effectively train, coach and provide performance feedback.
- Advanced knowledge of computer software's including word-processing, excel, outlook, WMS (preferably Eclipse) or other relevant computer software.
- Ability to analyze moderately complex data.
- Communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- 3-5+ years Fulfillment/Distribution and Inventory Control experience (preferably in a electrical industry) with at least one plus years in a leadership role.
- Ability to work on various shifts when the need arises.
Salary: $18-$25 / hour
