The Data Analyst is responsible for developing, administering and supporting the company's business intelligence platform. This is an onsite position at our Headquarters in Columbia, MD.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works with IS and System Support to mine data and automate reports and processes
- Participates in Product Teams to understand how users are using systems, how to improve data
quality and how to prioritize requested work
- Learns data table structure for erecruit and myUnity
- Helps create blueprint for data warehouse with IS, Finance, and operations resources
- Edits data to discard irrelevant information
- Intakes customer requests and provides customer service for inquires
- Identifies process improvements within departments
- Assists in creation of reporting to drive organizational goals
- Provides data visualizations through BI tools (such as Tableau) for company
- Works independently with little supervision on projects as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, computer strongly preferred with a minor in finance or
business
- Two to five (2-5) years of experience in the healthcare, credit, IS, or finance industry preferred
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficiency of SQL
- Proficiency of Business Intelligence visualization software (such as PowerBI)
- Superior organization skills and teamwork skills
- Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including,
but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency
in the English language may be required
Pay Range:
$60,000 - $80,000 + bonus
