Position: Salesforce Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist
As a Salesforce QA Specialist at LNB Solutions, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Cycle Management: Oversee the complete software development test cycle, from requirements testing to user acceptance and release testing.
- Test Strategy Development: Create comprehensive test approaches, plans, and data, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Functional & Non-Functional Testing: Execute test cases, identify potential failure points, and report/track bugs to maintain product integrity.
- Process Improvement: Identify pain points, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, making recommendations to the Team Lead or Project Manager for process enhancements.
- Issue Tracking & Escalation: Use tracking software to monitor reported problems and defects, escalating issues promptly as needed.
- Product Innovation: Contribute innovative ideas to improve our product and stay informed about the latest software quality assurance standards.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing in both staging and production environments to ensure consistent quality.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in software quality assurance, with a strong background in designing and executing test cases.
- Test Management: Proven experience in maintaining, executing, and reporting on multiple test plans and suites.
- Process Improvement: Familiarity with industry-standard process improvement methodologies (preferred).
- Problem Solving: Ability to research and understand undocumented setups and applications, with a knack for problem-solving in ambiguous situations.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to evolving needs, shifting priorities, and rapid change with a proactive "can-do" attitude.
- Collaboration: A proactive, organized, and team-oriented approach to work.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills, including speaking, writing, and presenting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant Salesforce certification and QA qualifications.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Organization: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment:
- This is a fully remote position, and candidates can be based anywhere in the United States. Preference will be given to those who can work East Coast hours.
