DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Talent Management Associate to join our team specializing in Human Resources for our Cummins Inc. facility in Nashville, TN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Facilitating Execution of Talent Strategy : By supporting and contributing to talent processes and initiatives, you will help execute the company’s talent strategy, thereby supporting its future growth.
- Leading Talent Management Processes : You may lead the deployment of one or more elements of a defined talent management process, which could include talent planning, acquisition, development, and assessment; competency and skill management; or employee engagement, onboarding, and retention.
- Improving Talent Processes : Your participation in continuous improvement activities for talent processes will help enhance their effectiveness. You will also document these processes and improvements, contributing to communication and change management efforts.
- Evaluating Program Effectiveness : By producing metrics and conducting basic analysis, you’ll evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of talent management programs, providing valuable insights for further improvements.
- Supporting Development and Administration : You’ll support work requests related to the development and administration of talent management processes, ensuring smooth operations.
- Participating in Project Teams : Your active participation in project teams that design, improve, and implement effective talent management processes will contribute to the overall success of these initiatives.
- Managing Stakeholder Relationships : You will manage stakeholder relationships effectively, responding courteously, accurately, and in a timely fashion to talent-related questions and requests. This will help maintain positive relations and trust between all parties involved.
- Acting as a Resource : By acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience, you’ll help build a stronger, more knowledgeable team, thereby enhancing the overall talent management process.

- Consult in Human Resources : Collaborate with partners to observe the environment and apply sound judgment informed by knowledge, skills, and experiences to diagnose, identify, and optimize opportunities to provide holistic solutions. Balance the needs of stakeholders, primarily employees, with those of the organization.
- Leverage Data Analytics : Discover, interpret, and communicate qualitative and quantitative data. Apply statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem-solving approaches to effectively extract meaningful patterns and business insights. Present conclusions and outcomes that enable data-driven business decisions. This will help you make informed decisions that can drive the success of your role.
Education/Experience
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s
qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
