Title:
Action Officer
KBR is seeking an Action Officer (AO) to support a USG Agency. Primary responsibilities include aligning activities and resources to ensure successful Director’s Advisory Group (DAG) operations and sound recommendations. The DAG is responsible for adherence to applicable Agency policies and guidance with respect to coordination and action tracking processes. The AO establishes and maintains effective working relationships with customers and other stakeholders of the Directorate/Office both internally and externally.
Responsibilities:
Develop and provide clear taskings to the appropriate offices, solicit responses, and consolidate the information from requisite sources to provide coherent, defendable, accurate, complete, consistent, and relevant deliverables for Government review and approval.
Coordinate with the Chief of Staff to assign tasks, track, and coordinate questions directed to Program leadership received from other directorates
Coordinate responses and assess for accuracy prior to senior management review
Monitor process on actions, generate metrics to demonstrate accountability for meeting deadlines and quality expectations; prepare periodic reports on action status and keep leadership aware of late, pending, new actions
Disseminate policy and legislative changes to appropriate parties internal to the Agency
Draft, proofread, edit and provide final review of internal and external correspondence
Coordinate and maintain presentations for audiences up to the Agency level; maintain a quality control process for all presentations
Support development and coordination of Weekly Activity Reports
Participate in DAG-related meetings
Requirements:
Desired - Bachelor's/associate degree in any discipline
3-5 years’ experience in DAG related functions
Prior experience with the target agency; knowledge of organizational structure, missions, and business processes
Demonstrated experience working with senior executives
Clearance: Must have an active TS/SCI with CI Poly
