SPA’s Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, OSD, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defense Force. Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients’ challenges.
Leveraging both in-domain and cross-domain expertise to maximize our clients’ success, SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decision-makers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights, systems engineering, strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security.
The Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) focus is to provide engineering, technical and programmatic support to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors (PEO IWS 2.0) Directorate. Efforts include overarching program management, test and evaluation, systems engineering, operations analysis, systems integration, international, cyber security, IT network and programmatic support for over 30 PEO IWS 2.0 advanced radar, phased array radar, electronic warfare, electro-optic, advanced off-board electronic warfare/decoy and directed energy programs.
SPA has an immediate need for a Junior Program Analyst. #MC
Responsibilities:
SPA is seeking a junior or mid-level Acquisition Analyst to provide acquisition and programmatic support to the Future X-Band Radar (FXR) program within the Navy’s Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors & Lasers Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0). Hybrid work is acceptable and you must have the ability to regularly work from SPA’s 20 M St. office in D.C. Travel is not expected.
You will research acquisition pathways and review acquisition guidance documentation, provide recommendations, and provide top-level execution scheduling and strategy including generation and tracking of relevant schedules to inform regular execution status meetings. Proficiency with Microsoft software that produces program schedules is a must. You will support planning, execution and closure of System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) and associated SETR walkup events in accordance with the NAVSEA/PEO IWS Technical Review Manual, Technical Interchange Meetings, and Working Group meetings. This includes planning, schedule development, and coordination of reviews, development of briefing materials, configuration management of in progress and final materials, tracking of comments against review materials and resolution, and review materials for proper security classification markings and distribution statements. You will supporting program and technical implementations, such as Risk Management, Configuration Management, Local Configuration Control Boards (LCCB) preparation, coordination, and execution as necessary.
You must have some DoD acquisition experience, but we don’t expect you to be an expert. Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range: $75,000 – $95,000.
