Position Details
Location: Spartanburg, SC, USA
Pay Rate: $17.51 per hour
Must be willing to work weekends
Position Summary
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, enforcing regulations, and responding to incidents ly and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings and access points.
- Enforce access control policies and verify identification of visitors and employees.
- Respond ly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies.
- Document daily activities and irregularities such as property damage or theft.
- Communicate effectively with law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.
- Provide assistance and guidance to visitors and employees as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to observe and report security issues accurately.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Prior experience in security or law enforcement is a plus but not required.
- Must meet any state or local licensing requirements applicable in South Carolina.
