Knowledge and Change Management Consultant
The Opportunity:
Whether it’s process improvement, performance measurement, or business management analysis, organizational change management comes down to one thing: learning how an organization works and making it better. Although many companies know where they want to go, getting there can be a challenge. Thankfully, that’s what you do: improve the systems that move entire organizations forward. It’s why we’re looking for someone like you—an organizational transformation and change consultant who can help identify long-term goals and support the creation of the processes needed to achieve them.
As a change management consultant, you’ll use your expertise to assess how alternations will impact business processes and design to develop a clear transformation strategy with mission, vision, goals, service delivery principles, and value drivers. You'll promote and assist with the use of internal knowledge management tools while developing and implementing repeatable knowledge management processes for continual process improvement. You'll research and document sources of knowledge management training and develop and present knowledge management briefings to the Command staff. You'll integrate information from departments and function throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal business partners and external clients. You'll train and educate front end users of the knowledge management tools. You'll develop reports to support operations, write knowledge content, and prepare presentations for senior management to support recommended changes, new initiatives, or enhancements, as required. You'll monitor solution benefits and key measures of success to ensure that ongoing benefits are realized, facilitate the development of controls with business partners through streamlining processes and system automation, support all positions with appropriate analysis and backup materials, and collaborate across many business units to communicate complex concepts. From unrealized potential to systemic challenges, you’ll provide your client with a holistic view of their organization to transform their practices for the better.
