THE ROLE:
The Operations Program Manager is a strategic and data-oriented program manager role. There is a specific focus on organizational operations including program budgets, HC management, and hiring needs across a diverse portfolio of solutions and product types. In this role you will partner with engineering teams to assess their needs, compile and maintain budgets, and consult on strategy. You will also work closely with finance to ensure mechanics of the organization progress smoothly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and shares best-in-class processes to streamline and grow the organization to meet new challenges and expanding roadmaps
- Works with Systems Engineering functional teams to maintain and analyze plan vs. actual costs, and build and analyze organizational metrics to consult on hiring needs
- Proficient with data management systems such as Excel and PowerBI to import/export and merge data files to allow for effective program management of multi-million dollar programs and organizations
- Works with finance to ensure organizations operate within budget, manage change control conversations to that budget
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 10+ years Program Management experience
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail, able to prioritize, and balance multiple work streams to tight deadlines
- Ability to influence horizontally across multiple internal functional organizations
- Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and long-range planning
- Skilled in interfacing with internal customers, partners and in managing joint-development projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication and expertise in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
- Must be well-organized and a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and coordinate the activities of geographically distributed technical teams
- Ability to structure and execute complex analysis, draw insights, and communicate summary findings/recommendations to senior management
- Ability to quickly adapt to dynamic business situations and technical requirements
- Excellent analytical, project planning, and management skills
- Proven ability to deliver strategic initiatives
OPIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Ability to engage with engineering leadership team to understand and document program scope, establish integrated schedules, assess and manage program progress and risk, and assist with resource and budget plans
- Experience with data management tools such as JIRA, JAMA, and general database knowledge (SQL, etc.)
- Experienced with data analysis and data visualization platforms such as PowerBI
- PMI PMP® Certification
- Knowledge of general PC architecture and SOC development processes
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- BA or Masters in business or BS or Masters in Computer/Electrical Engineering
