Program Summary
KBR is currently seeking a skilled Senior Information Systems Security Specialist. This role involves providing crucial support for the Tanker Recap/Next Generation Air Refueling System (NGAS) within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/WLQ) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
Job Summary
As the Senior Information Systems Security Specialist, you will be pivotal in maintaining and optimizing network operations, while serving as a key liaison with senior government personnel at our Wright-Patterson, Ohio location. You will be responsible for configuring networks and associated software to ensure peak performance and conducting thorough risk/benefit analyses before implementing changes that impact the Tanker Recap/NGAS program.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage network administration for local enclaves, including hardware, firmware, software, and wiring/optics.
- Assist the U.S. Government with oversight of all IT-related responsibilities within the directorate, including cybersecurity and management of IT hardware and software for devices such as laptops, tablets, printers, VoIP phones, mobile devices, and more.
- Provide configuration management support for Government-owned equipment used by individuals and in conference rooms to access both classified and unclassified networks.
- Analyze and resolve hardware and operating system issues with strong problem-solving skills.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management to plan and organize site management projects.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Convey complex technical information in an accessible and understandable manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Basic Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science or a related field, and 5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, candidates must have 13 years of experience in a related field.
- Must have experience working and supporting in Special Access Program Facilities (SAPF)
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance must be held and maintained. U.S. Citizenship is required.

- Security + Certification, or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire date
