Job Overview:
Shipping Coordinator
Works with the Logistics Manager, Logistics Supervisors, and communicates with the Warehouse team and management staff to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained and shipping/receiving administrative duties are completed timely and accurately.
Shift and Schedule: This is a full time position available on both 1st & 2nd shift (see options below). Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required.
Shift Option 1: 6:00am to 3:00pm, Monday-Friday.
Shift Option 2: 3:00pm to 12:00am, Monday-Friday.
Position Responsibilities

Process and audit outbound shipping documents in SAP. This includes updating customer orders, printing pick tickets and bill of ladings ensuring that all information is accurate.

Complete receiving transactions in SAP for incoming product and raw materials.
This includes updating purchase orders in SAP to ensure product is receipted correctly.

Interface with carriers which includes monitoring appointment times, completing appropriate paperwork for cancellations, and scheduling appointments for incoming
product deliveries.

Communicate with customers via telephone and email ensuring customer needs are met.

Enter requisitions and issue purchase orders for warehouse and shipping supplies.

Issue customer credits in SAP.

Interface with Inventory Manager any inventory related issues and make copies of daily receiving and any raw materials that are shipped to help ensure inventory
accuracy.

File monthly receiving paperwork, outbound/inbound truck logs, and bill of ladings.

Support and perform administrative tasks as assigned by the Logistics Manager or Logistics Supervisors.

Gate drivers in and out and schedule shipments on Ryder online
Requirements:
- Computer literacy and proficiency required in Excel & Outlook.
- Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated & able to multi-task.
- Experience in SAP preferred or similar WMS platforms.
- Experience in inventory control and/or supply planning.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Occasionally may lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Total Rewards:
- Compensation: Pay starting at $25.14 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $26.42 per hour in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary.
