Position Summary:
The Content Capabilities Lead is responsible for spearheading the evolution of Bristol Myers Squibb's (BMS) content capabilities. This role encompasses the management of platforms used for content concept review, content assembly, MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) review, and the distribution of content across various channels and customers. The ideal candidate will work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to establish and create key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the success and learnings of all content capability initiatives. This role requires deep subject matter expertise in content platform functionality, content processes, integration processes, and content KPI tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading the evolving BMS content capabilities which enable concept review, assembly, MLR review, and distribution of content across channels and customers as needed. Work with key stakeholders across the organization to establish and create key performance indicators measuring the success/learnings on all content capability initiatives.
- Acquire and retain the subject matter expertise of all content platform functionality, content processes, integration processes, and content KPI tracking.
- Successfully oversee the business ownership tasks required to support all foundational content capabilities for modular content libraries, review and approval systems, content authoring systems, channel distribution systems and integrations, etc.
- Primary connection point to commercial and view across the enterprise content capability needs.
- Lead on new and evolving content capabilities and key enhancements within the content capability ecosystem, navigates key connection points across a matrix partners (WCE, IT, procurement, business, legal, medical, regulatory (MLR), compliance and others) to facilitate the execution of initiatives.
- Lead content capability and platform functionality training material creation and maintenance, curriculum by role, and delivery planning as needed.
- Interface with senior levels of leadership on key initiative to educate and drive alignment on path forward for their business.
- Drives innovation culture in the content capability landscape and coordinates with business and omni-channel capability leads to evolve content capabilities with metrics/analytics driven approach
- Leads the initial creation, socialization and onboarding of operating models, capability roadmaps with Medical, Legal, Regulatory Standards processes for content capabilities
- Manages stakeholders and expectations regarding content management capabilities and MLR (Medical/Legal/Regulatory) processes
- Identify opportunities for synergies and collaboration within and across markets within the content capabilities ecosystem
- Business owner of validated content management systems. Responsible for system implementation including: build requirements, testing, end user training and all validation tasks
- Establish new content capabilities and operations based on enterprise adoption and evolution.
- Contributes to continuous improvement of content capabilities and provides input into Omni-Channel capabilities.
- Provides expertise into the ongoing evolution of content capabilities and operations by working with business leads, WCE on critical business priorities.
- Maintains view of the competitive landscape and has a broad perspective across BMS and pharma industry to identify and drive best practice around content expertise.
- Oversee all platform access strategy planning and design.
- Identify, execute and manage budget for assigned capabilities.
- Monitor project status and budget and provide regular reporting on progress, challenges, and solutions
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree required; Preferred MBA or MS; or equivalent experience value
- Minimum of 15+ years of business experience or similar experience
- Significant experience in leading content management ecosystems, content - automation and content distribution analytics strategy.
- Experience working in Veeva Vault PromoMats
- Experience working in eWizard
- Proven coaching and competency development skills
- Significant experience interfacing with senior levels of organizations
- Experience in managing validated computer systems
- Proven ability in managing agencies, capability vendors, and cross-functional support teams
- Demonstrated excellence in operational effectiveness
- Proven track record of coordinating and collaboration across multiple teams to prioritize varying business objectives and drive action to meet business requirements; recognized as an influential leader with credibility in conflict management and expectation management
- Proven track record of planning, prioritizing, and driving new capabilities within a complex organization.
- development/execution through effective project management and internal negotiation skills to build consensus, resolve conflicts and manage expectations
- Significant experience and knowledge of navigating the Legal/Medical/Regulatory review process in new omni-channel capabilities
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry preferred
- Experience working with commercial and Medical/Legal/Regulatory business partners preferred
- Both US and ex-US business experience
