KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Events and Meetings to join our Events and Meetings organization.
Responsibilities:
- Establish performance goals, provide feedback and guidance to counselees on an on-going basis regarding job performance, career development, and matching capabilities with potential development opportunities; onboard and integrate new team members, focusing on inclusivity, to inspire and bring team members and their ideas together
- Engage with counselees regularly and those they work with to help them continuously improve and foster an environment that motivates others to perform at peak levels of achievement, and work to increase counselees’ engagement, job satisfaction, and pride
- Assess current processes and workflows and continuously seek process improvements, collaborating with team leaders to implement changes where needed; keep current on latest trends in the marketplace and seek innovative event solutions and strategies
- Produce and analyze reports on team resources and programs to effectively develop valuable insights and forecast trends to support the firm’s business; create and deploy any necessary technology training for team members
- Serve as a project manager or lead producer for high-level or complex webcast and hybrid events, providing strategic guidance to stakeholders; lead and support an environment driven by client focus and teamwork
- Collaborate with technology team to solution technical issues and/or process improvements, as well as help ensure compliance with Risk, Security, Privacy, Brand, Information Technology and other internal teams as it relates to the webcast platform
Qualifications:
- Minimum seven years of recent experience in webcast production, preferably within a professional services firm or corporate environment; minimum two years of recent experience in a supervisory role
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
- Excellent verbal/written communication, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills with the capability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications and virtual meeting and streaming platforms; Socialive, Cvent and Salesforce knowledge a plus
- Ability to travel up to 20%
