Be the Difference
Astrion offers comprehensive services that boost preparedness, optimize performance, and ensure success across various domains, from Cyber to Digital, Mission and Systems, servicing our nation's Civilian, Defense and Space communities. We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S.
Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to support the Patrioit Excalibur (PEX) program which is within the USAF Kessel Run Division and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
PEX provides a multi-domain unit-level software toolset that enables Air Force, Joint Force and Foreign Military unit personnel to conduct accurate and real-time operational tasks and track readiness status, connecting functional areas within a unit.
The PEX Systems Engineer is responsible for maintaining technical awareness and leadership of a problem space. Charged with leading the technical direction of the application and guiding the Integrated Product Teams on successful implementation of technical strategy, you will facilitate information sharing between leadership and the product team and work with portfolio leadership to solve high-level problems, aligned with Kessel Run’s architectural and engineering direction.
At Kessel Run (KR), architecture — application, platform, data, integration, and security — is paramount. Our applications need to be highly operationally secure, available, and effective 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. As a program's Technical Advisor, you are part of KR’s architecture and engineering organization and take direction from the KR Architecture Leadership on the appropriate technical standards, architectural and technical design principles, best practices, and guidelines.
