Pay Range: 70k to 80k
THE ROLE:
As an Employee Relations Advisor (ERA), you will be a key part of the HR team. Reporting to the SVP of HR, you will operate as a shared services employee across all entities. You will provide internal consulting, coaching, and expertise to business leaders, HR colleagues, employees, and in-house counsel on a variety of employee relations issues, including at-risk performance management, employee investigations, and separations.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Serve as an in-house employee relations expert and lead internal investigations including gathering facts, conducting relevant interviews, reviewing current employment law, and using sound judgment to recommend optimal courses of action
Work with relevant HRBPs on complex performance management issues including implementing corrective action and other disciplinary procedures up to and including termination
Help manage a variety of employee separations including working with the relevant internal parties on employee and manager communications, separation agreements, final payments, and equipment returns
Handle complex and emotionally charged issues with professionalism and discretion, offering solutions without bias and providing excellent customer service
Mediate issues between employees and colleagues and/or managers to minimize conflict and reduce risk to the company
Work with in-house counsel and HR colleagues to draft and revise policies to respond to relevant changes in the employment law space pertaining to employee relations
Maintain meticulous records and respond to relevant internal and external documentation requests including employee relations reporting
Identify and implement solutions to drive efficiencies and other improvements in the employee relations realm and across the broader HR landscape
Perform other duties and special projects

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant employee relations experience in a complex, fast-paced organization
Proven experience solving a variety of employee relations challenges with the application of a consultative approach and sound judgment
Experience confidently representing policies and practices to leaders and employees across the organization
Proven ability to assist leaders with diagnosing and resolving issues through proper questioning techniques, active listening skills, and risk assessment
Proficient in Office 365
